Resourceful is Inclusive
We celebrate our commitment to web accessibility with our new name, Resourceful. Resourceful brings over a decade of skills and experience to help your website reach your goals. We do this with refined design, elegant development, and web accessibility included all along the way.
Since the company was founded in 2007 as Like the Goddess, Diana Thompson has provided web design and development to businesses and nonprofits. Over the years, Diana developed an expertise with WordPress as a content management system (CMS). She is a WordCamp and WordPress meetup speaker. Diana is also the founder of the Tiny Free Farm Stand.
The adoption of WordPress as our CMS of choice started with its power and flexibility which clients appreciated. WordPress offers the ability to customize site design and extend site functionalities. Over the years, we have designed and developed themes, developed site-specific plugins, built websites, and run blogs with WordPress. So we not only understand design and development, we bring deep experience with the whole platform.
Commitment to Accessibility
We are committed to provide access to the Internet for all users regardless of abilities or the technologies they use. Web accessibility enables users with permanent, temporary or situational disabilities have access to content and capabilities. Accessibility is not only the right thing to do, it improves user experience for all, and helps businesses and organizations avoid being sued under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
While we worked extensively with WordPress, we are also experienced with print design, content development, email marketing, and social media. So we can collaborate with you on many levels.
The diversity of our experience also extends to the wide variety of organizations. I’ve enjoyed working with businesses and nonprofits with a wide variety of cultural makeups.
Not only are we committed to producing a quality end product, we are committed to creating an easy process for our clients. We find out what your organization and your project need, and let that be our guide. We are available to answer questions and address concerns, translating “tech speak” into plain language. We focus on clear communications throughout the project, so you are confident in the job we are doing for you.
