Absinthia

Absinthia is a California-based certified organic absinthe. They needed a site to start their business with design and development updates as the grow.

When I designed the original site, I created a catalog to present absinthe recipes. The main recipes page includes a gallery of cocktail images and titles, each linking to its recipe. Users can filter recipes by base ingredient (whiskey, gin, vodka, etc.) for a more specific list of cocktails.

As Absinthia grew, we reorganized the site and refreshed the design. Content on the front page was edited down to make the user’s experience quicker and leaner. Inside pages were created with former front-page content. Where appropriate, front page sections link to interior pages. I refreshed the design with an expanded color palette, new imagery, and parallax scrolling on the front page.
